Energy Performance Certificates

All domestic properties being sold or rented must have a valid Energy Performance Certificate (EPC). An EPC is sometimes required in support of property improvement applications, for example applying for funding for solar panels or heat pumps installations. An energy performance assessment is a non-invasive inspection of all areas of the property, including the boiler and loft space, and typically takes around 30-45 minutes. During the assessment detailed notes are taken, after which a full report will be prepared and submitted to the public Government website.
