If you're looking for an EPC surveyor who has an aversion to actually checking your property, look no further than Daniel Betts! Despite our home being fully renovated and insulated, as certified by the Building Inspector, Daniel decided that documentation and photo evidence weren't enough. Daniel's unique approach to inspecting properties is truly one of a kind. Despite our property being certified by the Building Inspector, Daniel seemed to have a personal vendetta against thorough inspections. His motto? "Why check when you can assume?" Our loft, which is stuffed with insulation thicker than a winter duvet, was deemed inadequate simply because he couldn't be bothered to access it. And as for our sparkling, fully double-glazed windows? Apparently, they were too modern for Daniel to recognize. Apparently, double-glazed windows and thick insulation in the loft are mythical creatures he's never seen before. His favorite phrase? "Lack of access and documentation," which seems to be code for "I'm not bothered to check." All he wants is a mountain of paperwork, but even with a Building Control Certificate, he still managed to give us a low rating. Total waste of time. Save yourself the headache and avoid him like the plague if you don't want to be disappointed with your EPC certificate. If only he could rate himself, he'd get a solid F for frustration and an A for avoidance!
