I will arrange to visit your property at a time that is convenient to you, normally within 48 hours and carry out the EPC survey. On an average domestic property this will take around 40 minutes. I will produce the certificate within 48 hours of the epc survey. I will then send the EPC by email to yourself, your agent or solicitor. The EPC is valid for a period of 10 years from the date of issue.

EPC Prices. There are lots of factors which can affect the cost of  your epc.

Are You Using A Local EPC Provider ? If the surveyor has to travel a long way to the property then it is likely the price you pay will be higher than it will be if you use our Local EPC Service.

Are you using a panel? A panel is a service which advertises energy performance certificates but does not actually provide the EPC themselves. They are usually a booking service which adds a middle man fee to the price you pay to cover their costs, meaning you pay more than you should. It can also lead to delays after you pay if they cannot find a local assessor to do the survey.

The regulations will initially only apply upon the granting of a new tenancy to a new or existing tenant.
