Do I Need an EPC ?

An Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) is required whenever a property is built, sold or rented. If you are selling or renting your property, you must order an EPC for potential buyers and tenants before you market your property for sale or rental.
The EPC will contain information about energy use and typical energy costs as well as recommendations about how to reduce energy use and save money. The EPC will give your property an energy efficiency rating from A (most efficient) to G (least efficient) and it will be valid for 10 years from the date of production.

Select whether you need an EPC for a domestic or commercial property and enter your postcode in the search box. You will then see details about your local epc providers. If you know the name of the Assessor you are looking for you can enter their name to find the details.

All assessors are fuly accredited and qualified to conduct the epc survey on your property and to produce the energy performance certificate.
